In vehicles with a factory-fitted towing bracket: the vehicle's rear fog lights are switched off automatically if a trailer with rear fog lights is electrically connected to the vehicle.

Fog lights:
The indicator lamps or in the light switch indicate that the fog lights are switched on.
Audible warnings if lights are not switched off
If the key is removed from the ignition lock and the driver door is opened, an audible warning will sound in any of the following situations. That will remind you to switch off the lights as necessary.
