Volkswagen Touran Owners Manual: After changing a wheel
First read and observe the introductory information
and safety warnings
- If needed, clean the tools then place them back in the foam rubber holder in the luggage compartment or behind the side trim on the left-hand side of the luggage compartment
- Stow the spare wheel, temporary spare wheel or the removed wheel safely in the luggage compartment.
- Have the tightening torque of the wheel bolts checked with a torque wrench as soon as possible .
- Have the damaged wheel replaced as soon as possible.
In vehicles with a tyre pressure monitoring display, the systems have to re-learn after wheels are changed .
