Volkswagen Touran Owners Manual: Introduction

Only use stowage compartments to stow light or smaller objects.

A factory-fitted CD changer, Apple iPod® adapter, USB connection or multimedia socket (MEDIA-IN) may be located in the stowage compartment in the centre armrest.

Additional information and warnings:

WARNING

Loose objects may be flung through the vehicle interior in the event of a sudden driving or braking manoeuvre. This can cause serious injury and also mean you lose control of the vehicle.

WARNING

Items in the driver footwell could hinder pedal operation. This could lead to loss of control over the vehicle and increase the risk of serious injury.

NOTICE

Do not cover the ventilation openings on the rear side windows in the luggage compartment as this would prevent stale air escaping from the vehicle.
