First read and observe the introductory information and safety warnings 

The luggage compartment cover can be fitted behind the second or third row of seats  .

Opening the luggage compartment cover

• Use the handle   to pull the luggage cover back slightly.

• Lift the luggage compartment cover to unhook it from the side holders and guide the luggage compartment cover by hand to the front.

Closing the luggage compartment cover

• Use the handle   to pull the luggage cover back smoothly.

• Hook the luggage compartment cover into the side retainers on the left and right.

Fitting the luggage compartment cover

• First, fit the luggage compartment cover into the mounting slot on the left-hand side.

• Release the luggage compartment cover in the direction of the arrow  .

• Push the luggage compartment cover down into the right-hand mounting.

• Check that the luggage compartment cover is properly locked into place.

Installing the luggage compartment cover behind the third row of seats

• Remove covers of the mountings in the side trim on the left and right. Then press down onto the cover from above and remove the cover.

• Open the stowage compartment at the rear in the variable luggage compartment floor   .

• Stow the covers of the mountings in the stowage compartment securely in the retainers on the left and right  .

• Close the stowage compartment at the rear in the variable luggage compartment floor.

• First fit the luggage compartment cover in the left mounting in the side trim.

• Release the luggage compartment cover in the direction of the arrow  .

• Push the luggage compartment cover down into the right-hand mounting.

• Check that the luggage compartment cover is properly locked into place.

Removing the luggage compartment cover

• Unlock the luggage compartment cover in the direction of the arrow  . Lift it up in the direction of the arrow  .

• Remove the luggage compartment cover from holder on the right.

• When removing from behind the third row of seats: stow the bracket covers in the side trims.

WARNING

A luggage compartment cover installed in front of a rear seat could cause serious injuries in the event of sudden braking manoeuvres or an accident.

• When people are sitting on the rear seats in the third row, always install the luggage compartment cover behind the third row of seats.

WARNING

Objects which are not secured or which are secured incorrectly or animals on the luggage compartment cover could cause serious injuries in the event of a sudden driving or braking manoeuvre or accident.

• Do not stow any hard, heavy or sharp items either loose or in bags on the luggage compartment cover.

• Never transport pets on the luggage compartment cover.
