Volkswagen Touran Owners Manual: Personal convenience settings

If two people use a vehicle, Volkswagen recommends that each person always uses their own vehicle key. When the ignition is switched off and when the vehicle is locked, the personal convenience settings are automatically stored and allocated to the vehicle key .
The personal convenience settings of the following menus options are allocated to the vehicle key:
- Auxiliary heating menu
- Settings menu
- Time
- Language
- Units
- Settings – Convenience menu
- Central locking (single door unlocking, Auto Lock)
- Convenience mode for the windows
- Mirror lowering function
- Settings – Lights & Vision menu
- Coming home and Leaving home function
- Footwell lights
- Lane change flash
The stored settings are automatically called up when the ignition is switched on at the latest.
