First read and observe the introductory information and safety warnings

The front headlight does not need to be removed when changing a bulb.

The jobs should be carried out in the given order only:  
Dipped beam headlights Front turn signal Daytime running light
and main beam
Side lights
1. Observe and follow the instructions on the checklist   .
2. Open the bonnet   .
3. Pull off the rubber cover on the rear side of the headlight.
4. Turn the bulb holder anti-clockwise as far as it will go and pull it out to the rear along with the bulb. Pull the bulb and bulb holder out to the rear.
5. Pull the bulb straight out of the bulb holder.
If applicable, push the catch on the bulb holder.
6. Replace the defective bulb with a new bulb of the same type.
7. Insert the bulb holder into the headlight and turn it clockwise as far as it will go. Insert the bulb holder into the headlight.
8. Put the rubber cover on.
The jobs should be carried out in the given order only:
Front turn signal Cornering light
1. Observe and follow the instructions on the checklist   .
2. Open the bonnet   .
3.   Pull off rubber cover from back of headlight.
4. Turn the bulb holder anti-clockwise as far as it will go and pull it out to the rear along with the bulb. Pull the bulb and bulb holder out to the rear. Press the bulb holder downwards and pull it and the bulb out towards the rear. Pull the bulb and bulb holder out to the rear.
5. Pull the bulb straight out of the bulb holder.
If applicable, push the catch on the bulb holder.
6. Replace the defective bulb with a new bulb of the same type.
7. Insert the bulb holder into the headlight and turn it clockwise as far as it will go. Insert the bulb holder into the headlight. Insert the bulb holder into the headlight and push upwards.
8.   Put the rubber cover on.

Obtain expert assistance if the bulb of the dipped beam headlight of vehicles with dynamic or static cornering lighting (AFS) has to be changed.

The illustrations show the left-hand headlight from the rear. The right-hand headlight is a mirror image of the one shown.
