Volkswagen Touran Service Manual / Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning / Components, Replacing / Receiver/Dryer or Reservoir and Restrictor, Replacing / Replacing Reservoir, No Contaminants, No Loss of Refrigerant

Discharge the refrigerant circuit.

Replace the restrictor depending on the vehicle.

Remove receiver or accumulator.

Remove dirt from receiver or reservoir.

Weigh removed receiver/dryer or reservoir.

Note

Add refrigerant oil to the reservoir or receiver/dryer until it is the same weight as the component that was removed.

Install new receiver/dryer or reservoir.

Assemble, evacuate and charge the refrigerant circuit.
